### Getting Started

{% hint style="success" %}
Restart your computer before beginning the setup or launching the software.
{% endhint %}

#### Disable Windows Defender

<details>

<summary>Why do I need to do this?</summary>

You need to disable your antivirus because it can block cheats or loaders from running correctly. Antivirus programs often flag cheat software as malicious because it modifies or injects code into games to enable features like aimbot or ESP which appears abnormal for a file to do. This is a common issue for all game cheats, not just Arctic Cheats. Rest Assured, Arctic Cheats is safe to use.

     * Backup your data to prevent any potential loss.
3. **Validate with MBR2GPT:**
   * Run the following command to validate if the disk is ready for conversion:

     ```shell
     mbr2gpt /validate /disk:<disk_number> /allowFullOS
     ```
   * Replace `<disk_number>` with the correct disk number obtained from Disk Management (`diskmgmt.msc`).
4. **Convert the Disk:**
   * If the validation is successful, execute this command to perform the conversion:

     ```shell
     mbr2gpt /convert /disk:<disk_number> /allowFullOS
     ```
5. **Reboot and Configure BIOS:**
   * Restart the computer and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing `F2`, `Del`, or `Esc` during boot).
   * Change the firmware settings from BIOS to UEFI mode.
